"CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE"THE EVENT
CONNEX BIU : A Body that is set to Entertain, Educate and Enlighten
through difference means like Shows, TV Show Magazines and other
Mediums. The mission of Connex organization is to equip students and
members who want to become entrepreneurs, develop their ideas, polish
the talents, and bring their ideas to reality. The Connex vision is
simply transforming members to professionals who will positively change
the entertainment industry.
Connex Entertainment is open to students who have ideas and talents that can make difference in the world through the media. Our projects are Magazine Nigerian State of Mind, an educating and entertaining youth talk show.
On May 3rd 2014, they came up with a show.

Featuring :
* An Award Night
* Pageantry for Mr and Miss BIU and
* A Fashion Show
Its a Show put up by the Connex Body to encourage Students from within and outside to showcase their designs and also to encourage those within in their entrepreneur abilities by giving them different awards to let them know that they are deeply appreciated. Held at the Benson Idahosa University (BIU Main Auditorium) with Guest Appearances like Sean P (MC), Soso Maxwel (Co Host), Tl Sound (Redcarpet Vj), Former Miss Edo & Chukie Dialo (Judges) and others
Side attractions like Music, Comedy and the likes of such to spice up the event.
Students and people from outside Benin also graced the event. Designers from within and outside the school came to showcase their designs, even Matan Boutique also showcased their clothes.
It was a great show indeed and the peak of the show was when the Mr and Miss BIU were crowned.
We had few support from Phil Hallmark, Kada Plaza, STV and individuals.
It was a Success and special appreciation to Connex Team for putting such a wonderful show, Mr Manny Omokha (President Connex), Benson Idahosa University, our amiable Sponsors, Xela Media, Toby Entratainment, Fashion designers (Mo's, Bella, Snatch Shirts & Costumes, Sherly' Designs), Models, the contestants, our lovely audience (those that came from far and near) and everyone other person that in one way or the other played a very great part to ensure the success of the Show. Can't mention all the names but we really do acknowledge your support, without you there wouldn't be a show. You are appreciated and loved. Thanks from the Connex Crew.
